To vodacom 3G

I'm speaking under correction here on the N73, but you should be able to change the VLive skin and replace it with either the standard Nokia one or any other one.

The only 'branding' that's then left will be the Vodafone label on the phone itself.

That is usually the case V3G but I have a problem in that the vLive software is always a few months behind the generic nokia software and the latest version available from Nokia has increased the responsiveness to my phone remarkably.

I had a fluke with the Nokia upgrade site in that it removed the vLive branding and loaded ver 5.0638 dated 18/9 whereas the vLive software is still on the previous ver of 5.0609 dated 1/3 - as can be seen by people here who have tried to upgrade their vLive N70's to the newer firmware.

Needless to say, my MMS problem has returned but I am now going to dump this phone and get a non vLive phone with Symbian OS (preferably Series 60 ver 3) hence my interest in a non branded N73.
