Can someone give me step by step instructions how to make toast?

What is it made out of?
How do you get it warm? (microwave?)
When to put filling on (before or after you warm it?)
Does anyone have a nice recipe?
Filling: Just butter and marmite?

take a few slices of bread. butter them. add slices of tomato. then grated cheese. sprinkle with pepper and origanum.

put into oven and wait till the edges start to get black - remove.

enjoy!!

that's a little complicated.

think Cheri_N you can handle it?

Dearest Cheri_N,

Thank you for your reply. I was reading your previous thread about tramezinni's, and I must admit i was most distraught at your dilemma! I agree it is not so obvious as to the correct technique required to warm bread, not to mention the indellibly tricky operation of adding filling! Good Lord, I must admit when it came to WHEN the illustrious filling should be added, i almost cried as the situ
ation was almost too much to bear!

Cheri_N, my interpid filler of tramezzini's, go forth and warm your bread, fill that delicious toasty pita with a myriad of exotic flavours, and think of me with every bite.

After all, you required someone to tell you how to warm up bread, and when to put the filling in.
You deserve it!

I typically buy a loaf of sliced white bread (most cafe's and retail food stores sell them). It doesn't have to be white, but I find it works better.

I then proceed to open the plastic packaging and remove two slices.

These slices are then lowered vertically into my automated electric toast making device (a.k.a. a toaster).

I then activate the device - usually on a setting of 3.5, but change to taste.

About 2 minutes later the inserted slices pop out (this makes a very audible noise, you will know when it happens).

Voila, toast!

:p:)

This is why Cheri_N is single:

PS. if you don't have a "toaster" go and buy one first!!! Then proceed to the next step....
