A lot of people have had ADSL issues today.

Can we have your feedback who had issues, and who not?

ADSL at my work was up and down a lot during the afternoon.

Just tried to connect to my IS account, it's completely dead. Switch to saix account, no problems there at present.

I'm not at home, but according to the WA DSL control panel, my IS Local Only account is running with no problems. In fact it's been running for almost 24hours and is only scheduled for the illegal reset "Today (at about) 3:58 PM".

Will see what my SAIX account is up to when I get home.

It's definitely working. Got about 2 sms today already (I set up a Notification for every 500MB that gets used).

Our ADSL wasn't reset every 24 Hours. I disconnected it just now(It was running slow) and it said 2 days 23 hours connected.

Both has their 24hour resets, so I dont know what line/account you have pjjdp?

We do alot of ADSL graphing and yes its been up and down all day, more the uncapped ADSL than capped ADSL routers.

But we do have IS ADSL, so ya

IS been almost unusable for the past week or so. Is this issue only limited to the "Uncapped" users?

No it's not, I'm a "capped" user.

Two IS lines have been up and down all day here in PMB. I have heard there is some big fault in New Germany - not sure tho.

Imaginet SAIX unshaped, capped - all fine - Kalk Bay Cape Town.

Any news what's going on?

This was apparently a EdgeRouter failure in PTA (dunno which exch, but prob'ly a major mamma on the network), and a related Optic break at Spuithoek (?) somewhere between PTA and Brits.
That one break can cause that much of s**t ... eish! What happened to the RingFeed concept they had ?!? ! Rhetorical question!
