Today was a terrible and miserable day.

Unfortunately I was given some inaccurate information and when I scraped together enough courage to ask her out on a coffee date, she informed that she is seeing someone and that it wouldn't be a good idea.
It happens. Managed that twice already. Actually make that 3 times.

It'll pass...I had a miserable day yesterday and today was actually pretty good.

I'm sorry if your property or some of your property were destroyed in a fire.

The opportunity, potentially existed, which actually could have worked towards a relationship with a very pretty lady.

Unfortunately I was given some inaccurate information and when I scraped together enough courage to ask her out on a coffee date, she informed that she is seeing someone and that it wouldn't be a good idea.

All my hopes ... dashed.

Added to that our school's router got fried and it took me more than 2 hours to figure that out. I was led to suspect a contractor who connected to one of our admin computers via teamviewer to configure some telephony software, of ****ing up my system because our internet connectivity went down just after he connected. So I went off on a tangent looking for what he did to my system. But through troubleshooting it became clear that it was a hardware router issue.

So I had to go and purchase a new one and reconfigure all our computers to use the new gateway's address because this router cannot be configured to have a x.x.x.254 address. Only 253 and less.

Added to that it feels like I'm fighting with kids everyday, because their behaviour is going to ****.

Just today I want on a rant and a speech with 2 classes for the whole period about their lack of dedication and work ethics and the dire consequences that will etc., ect. I wish I had a recording of that.

Oratorically it was one of the best speeches I (or anyone else - Hitler included) have ever given. Do I think I got through to the kids? ... **** NO!
First, as Lara says, have you considered a dating service? I wanted to suggest it in that thread where you were talking to googoodoll.

Second you make a decision every day which dwarf you wanna be, Grumpy or Happy :p

I know that there are so many things that can interfere with your choice, but it's up to you whether to let it. I have teenage boys and I know how much they can test you and poor you have to deal with a whole class of them. So instead of dwelling on all the things that went wrong, focus on what you should be grateful for...you don't have to spend your whole day with them, your evenings are brat free and those brats are responsible for you receiving a pay cheque every month.Nobody knows you're imagining yourself throttling the lot of them... I'm sure you can think of more :p

Chin up bru! Whenever I hit rock bottom, thinking my life is shirtty, I always look at the below snap, asking myself, How bad was MY day actually?

I read the story behind that picture. I know the photographer committed suicide .. but it's not as if the vulture really descended on that boy in a critical manner. The kids town and family where behind the camera ... so realistically the boy was VERY weak but it's not as if no-one else was around to fend off the vulture.

That is not the intent of the photograph at all. Just look at the poor child! Would you like to trade places with a malnutritioned child who doesn't even have the strength to sit up?

Yes, but that's not the point. The image of the picture is that the vulture was close to eating the boy, which wasn't the case.

I might just do it ... but not tonight.

I'm not unpleasant to look at from the front. But from a side profile ... that is my Achilles heel.
