The gaming community has been waiting for Ubisoft to release another Splinter Cell title .

Does one think it’s gonna happen ? This is by far the best Tom Clancy game I’ve played (I’ve played Wildlands, GRW, GRB, Division etc ).

I really hope we get another splinter cell title

Except for the first 3, haven't played any of the subsequent games in the series.

The first game brings back memories. I recall using a copy of mine to be able to softmod the original Xbox, back in the day.

Aren't they working on a new game or a remake or something? Played them all, one of my favourite series along with Prince of Persia (which they pretty much replaced with Assassins Creed).

Chaos Theory is by far the best SC but I love them all.

They already did a reboot without Michael Ironside as the voice of Sam Fisher and it sucked

There are already 9 of them
Leave it alone

Make something new

As a side note - The Hitman Trilogy is a good substitute for Splinter Cell

I'd say it's almost better
Only difference is you are a Hitman and not a Special Agent

There are 6. 7 if you count Essentials.

I wouldn't mind 20 more tbh.

You are incorrect, sir
Officially 9 separate releases (even though there are copies, they were sold separately as different games) excluding mobile and handheld which would put the number at about 21

Splinter Cell 2002
Pandora tomorrow 2004
Chaos theory 2005
Essentials 2006
Double agent Version 1 2006
Double Agent Version 2 2006
Conviction 2010

- Ironside leaves

Classic Trilogy HD 2011
Blacklist 2013

Double Agent seems to be the most hated, but it's the one I personally enjoyed the most
It put the story direction in the players hands and your decision decided the ending

Thought it was great

Haha no one counts games like that. There are 6, Essentials and mobile games don't count imo :p

Also, what the heck is Double Agent v1 and 2? Never heard of that.

Double Agent is awesome. By far the most unique and creative game in the series. But Chaos Theory is the best.

Double Agent V1 is the Xbox 360 and PC release and considered the Canon release

V2 is the PS2 release and features a different story and levels

Yes yes yes, pretty please. A new Splinter Cell pretty please. Using the latest Snowdrop engin.
