I've got Garmin Mobile XT up and running on my Nokia N82 with internal GPS, but from some reviews I've seen the TomTom software is even better (apparently a small hack can get it working with the internal GPS).

Has anyone got the TomTom navigation software running on a cellphone ?
How does it compare to Garmin mobile XT ?

I had both. I still prefer garmin as it feels more polished and ran slightly faster on my TYTNII. The tomtom is more "gimmicky" because you can dl custom voices ect. But in the end they had about the same quality maps, both updated position quick enough and did the job.. I suspect the garmin won with me simply because im used to it..

TOMTOM

GARMIN LOOKS WAY BETER THAN TOMTOM GRAPHICAL WISE,THE DOWN SIDE TO GARMIN IS THAT, IT HAS WHAT THEY CALL A 2SECOND DELAY. TOMTOM MAPS HAVE MORE COVERAGE THAN GARMIN AND ITS MORE REAL TIME THAN GARMIN.I HAVE BOTH ON MY PHONE
YOU CAN JUST GOOGLE IT ITS ALL OVER THE WEB

Tomtom is much more popular in Europe than Garmin, here in SA it suffers lack of exposure and support, that said I am still waiting for "support" from the local Garmin agent in an issue which by now is clearly not going to happen. Personally I prefer Tomtom, but you are going to get a lot more "fors" for Garmin, purely for the reason of being around and well known in SA for ages.
