25 May 2015 at 09:15 by News24.com - The drunken driving case against ANC NEC member Tony Yengeni is expected to continue in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court today.
During his previous appearance in April, Yengeni’s lawyer, Sylvester Vogel, said the party’s national executive committee member would pursue plea negotiations with the director of public prosecutions.
Magistrate Nasha Banwari postponed the matter for the plea agreement negotiations.
Yengeni, who is out on R500 bail, was arrested in August 2013 after he was stopped for allegedly driving his Maserati erratically in central Cape Town.
AGAIN. This man doesn't learn.

Cape Town - The drunken driving case against ANC NEC member Tony Yengeni hit yet another delay in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
It emerged that plea agreement negotiations had yet to be finalised because a representative at the director of public of prosecutions’ office had been on leave.
Yengeni is currently the ANC's head of political education. He was found guilty of fraud relating to the arms deal and released on parole in 2007 after serving four months of his four year sentence.
There really is sweet f'all to negotiate with the NPA. The bloods speak for themselves.
Any other normal citizen it all would have been over long ago.
