But what would the fine be, if any, for doing 100 through a set of traffic lights in an 80 zone?
I was on the M7 (Edwin Swales) on my way to work and as i was passing Rossburgh testing ground i noticed i was doing 100 when i went through the lights and i am almost sure there is a camera there.

There is indeed a camera there. The flash is immensely bright so no doubt you were caught

That camera faces the robots so.. your fine may increase if it caught you while going through a red (if you were). I'm sure you can expect to pay at least R250 - R500.

Thankfully it was green. Didn't even go orange yet. I blame it on the wannabee speed racer in his city golf! He made me do it.

yeah i think its around r250 and most robots now have robot and speed cameras together

That intersection is on my route home. So many people coming along Edwin Swales get hit by that camera its not funny. It's probably the most successful camera in the whole of KZN!
