top 5 free MMO's

But what about latency, doobi? :(

Cant be nice trying to PvP with a 400 ping

400 ping in an mmo is perfectly playable, even for pvp

I have a 400 ping in guild wars, and guild wars PvP is extremely enjoyable :D

EDIT: Hmm i checked that site, they didnt mention any of acclaims free mmo's

www.acclaim.com

Theres: 9 Dragons (i played this one, its not too bad, lots of grinding though but the idea and some of the implementation is very good.

2 Moons : Looks very nice, fluid movements, but i think i'd still prefer 9 Dragons over it

BOTS: Also looks good, but I cant judge it that much

DANCE Online : blegh...

wow, that list would not be my choice :) Habbo Hotel !?? Oik, its interersting, but not something I would keep coming back to.

Try these...
9Dragons, Rappelz, Martial Heroes (i tried them and won't return too soon due to how poor these game worlds look - its like they quickly create the terrains, dump crits of various level groups all over the place and then spend some time to create nice looking player characters) . .this is just my opinion and I probably didn't give these games enough time in-game, but if it can't catch me in the first few levels I move onto something else, there are just so many MMOGs to try

Last Chaos (still downloading)

Archlord - you need to buy the client, but there is no monthly just like Guild Wars, and unlike GW it is not just one instance after the other. If I where to play a free2play game this would probably be it, but I bought LOTRO so thats where I'm spending my time atm :p

Oh, almost forgot bout Dungeon Runners ! You have to try it, this one I will be playing again.

Gprs Gw

But Raz don't forget I was protecting your noob @ss on a GPRS connection in Guild Wars :p Thats like 1000-2000ms latency and I was fine.

Heh I was the noob actually.
:o

Come join Rappelz its good fun

Sorry for double post.

Its because in MMO's everything is "instanced" based so each move is handled differently than say in a FPS game.
