The man credited with regenerating Claremont's CBD has been found dead outside his office block the Stadium on Main building.

An inquest docket has been opened into the death of Chris Drummond, and police are speculating he could have had a heart attack before plunging three storeys to his death early this morning.

I find it highly unlikely that this was a heart attack - this was a person who climbed Everest.
 
so he was standing on the railing of the third storey of the building, had a heart attack, ripped his shirt open and fell to his death???? ya right that sounds like codswallop to me!!!!
 
And because he climbs mountains he can't have a heart attack? Oh well call the coroner you have solved the case why waste tax payer money oi well it takes all kinds I guess there have to your kinds also. If only you can use your powers to tell us who killed JFK & what happend at Roswell. If you have a second give it a shot. Bwahahahahah

You cant live on mcdonalds and climb everest, he obviously lived some sort of healthy lifestyle

and why is it whenever someone falls out of a window the first assumption is heart attack??
 
Don't see why the police would hide the fact if it was a murder.. Only time would tell I guess as the investigation progresses

Many healthy people have died of heart attacks before. I've known some extremely fit people that lead healthy lives that just keeled over and died from heart attacks. They are the last people you would expect to die from heart attacks but it happens, dunno if it's a gene thing or what.

Maybe the business world finally made his mind break...He had a Superman moment...Ripped open his shirt and jumped before checking if he had a cape on?

Quite correct. Still it seems quite strange that he'd fall 3 floors. Maybe I need to go look at the office that he works at - is there a balcony etc? Even if he was against an open window, he'd probably be slumped against the wall.

I forget the name of the disease but there's a genetic condition that kills a lot of athletes and fit individuals because it's set off by the strain of exercise or stress.

One minute fit and healthy next minute dead.

You don't have all the facts & they can't compromise the investigation.
Haul yourself over a balcony or through a window to drop 3 floors whilst having a hart attack is just the BS explanation they want you to buy for now.

Not saying foul play should be ruled out, but just two weeks back an international mountain biker died in his sleep doing the Cape Epic, he was in his mid 20's. It can happen to anyone.
 
Maybe he was banging the mistress, and fell over while attempting to remake the scene from BangBros. The mistress might have been the wife of some other businessman, and she feared being caught, and his husband suspected of the murder, then she quickly ran downstairs, remove all traces from the car and vanish. Far fetched? I know, but it's possible.
 
Sometimes being to healthy can cause you to have a heart attack, climbing a mountain does not mean you are immune to a heart attack.

Damn if that was the case i would climb up everest :D

Yeah but that was a good few days in extremely hot & dry weather which no doubt caused the death. Obviously the amount they have to ride also played a factor because it leads to exhaustion and dehydration.

@Killadoob: I didn't say he was immune, I just find it unlikely, especially considering my follow-up post said which said his car was found with the doors open.
 
nothing explains how he came to fall 3 stories down to his death?????? if you have a heart attack do you fall dramatically out a window i.e. as in the movies? well if he was shooting a dramatic scene in a movie then that would explain him falling out the window 3 stories to his death having a heart attack wouldn't it. otherwise - no he would have fallen neatly down onto the floor where he was standing. almost as if he fainted say what?
