Top Gear S22

My god people. It was a once-off type broadcasting error no doubt. If u want to cancel then cancel. Something like this should not be the reason though :wtf:

Interesting, Multichoice is pointing out that the error was at the BBC side in relation to the que tones. This feed is live, which other TV service experienced this issue? Is Multichoice being honest?

My "pirated" wasnt affected at all.

Was probably "ripped" off BBC, it's illegal for them to show adverts.

As a question does the DSTV showing run longer than an hour? Because that's the only way they would be able to get in adverts and the whole show.

Also doesnt any one watch the final copy to make sure swear words and stuff are censored (if there are any) or do they just insert the ads and assume everything went according to plan.

Illegal for BBC or the pirates?

BBC cannot show commercial advertisements, but do show ads for their own shows. Sometimes they literally have a countdown on screen (anybody remember this from the Scifi channel?). Censor track is added during a 5 minute delay which also helps with unforeseen technical. Our broadcast is probably delayed for every adbreak, and yes it runs over an hour.

There are no ad breaks during programs on the BBC. The 'trailers' for their own shows are only shown between shows, never during.

Regarding program length, Top Gear is just over an hour on the BBC, without breaks. The last episode was just short of 62 minutes.
