Annual Kaspersky Security Bulletin reveals the top malware countries and the countries which faced the most web attacks
 
Reduced 99% of web attacks on my server by just changing the default SSH port, still have not changed FTP but if they can crack the password they deserve a medal haha

On topic, I managed to divert 99% of my attacks by just changing the port Remote Desktop uses... Guess changing the SSH port is my next move...

What also helps is if you don't allow ping replies on any ports. That way most of those network scanners won't see your server's open ports.
