Actually hardly a day doesn't go by that Government doesn't talk in Billions.kingmonty said:This gub is so adamant on creating this false image of south africa abroad. The money being thrown at 2010 is a spectacular example of how they care about the citizens of the country (or dont care?)
Somehow I doubt that this money will be used for protecting South Africans, or that the security related "jobs" will be kept in place.
One would think we are rolling in the cash?
Yet I see no infrastructure going up.
Just the same old roads the old regime built before 1994.
The whole of Southern Africa relies on the Power Stations that the National Party built. Nothing has happened since.
I think Mayor Zille must get the money in writing or better still in the bank before she commits to this insane cost.
Cape Town will have to foot the Bill in the end. I see it coming?
Sorry to sound negative, but it is easy to talk big money, but then show the money I say.
In my own life I have noticed that people that talk in millions, usually are the ones that don't have it.
