Any information about TopTV's Top Sport channel?

I'd love to know if I can watch super14 games live or even delayed by an hour or so.

Super sport won't easily give up their rugby. Thats the only reason why I and probably 90% of their subscriber base have DSTV.

Sport needs to be live
A couple of years ago when the SABC still broadcast some sport they did this thing called "Delayed Live". I think it was to to not interrupt the broadcast with news which they had to broadcast. I never understood what was 'live' about the whole thing...

Sorry guys, DSTV have just about all the sports rights tied up tight. They won't let them go easily, they are one of the main draw cards.

Legally, they don't have the right to:

a. Refuse sale of broadcasts to competitors.
b. Price sales unreasonably high.

It's all up to whether or not TopTV would be prepared to pay for the broadcasts or not.

With the cracking start they got one would hope that they can find the funds somewhere in their budget - anyway as soon as they have some decent sport ppl will jump ship like mad only further covering the cost of the sports licesnce
