I remember reading a while back something called the New Translation dictionary... had such gems as

Pessimist - like Optimist but better informed

Peaceful co-existence - Time spent preparing for next war

So I got to thinking how about a SA Communications top ten.... such as

1. Telkom reduces prices - A magical carpet ride brought to your by the Telkom SS&M department (Spin Smoke and Mirrors) Expect to pay more

2. Imminent - Very soon, unless there is a space / time distortion, caused by an anomaly or wormhole, maybe even both. In which case it could be anytime from now or until hell freezes over.... or that it is discovered that there is no hell and it's all just a silly dream - Often used / said - in the hope that people will go away, or eventually give up and go home

3. The Customer is always right - The customer has no rights

Feel free to join in

4. Tsunami - The reason why the South African public pays more and why the Government has their fingers in all the respective communications pies. 1 753 metres above sea level has nothing on this beast.
