Top TV - Epic fail or just a poor start?

I did that this morning and got through instantly.

Don't feel bad. Their call centre is now completely down. That means when they finish the install for me (happening now), they won't be able to activate it. So, looks like I'll have to do it all again tomorrow morning to get it working.

The BEST advise I can give is to do what somebody else suggested: Call them at 06:59 and keep dialling till the lines activate.
Then quickly press 1 (Interested in package) then 2(Home User) then 3 (Installations) for each subsequent menu. (Shouldn't take longer than about 2 or 3 seconds. Then somebody will answer immediately.

So to clarify: The dialling sequence is as follows: 0860086788 -> 1 -> 2 -> 3.

Done so on Sunday Morning, to my Suprise, I was shocked to find out that their all centre was busy . Guess everyone had the same mindset LOL

Does Multichoice (mono-options) grow with 50 000 potential (new) subs per day?? Doubt that !!! So give these guys a break, they have been thrown into the deep end of the South African craving for alternatives to the well established monopolies we have. Yes, they could have better prepared for that, but you all started crawling before you could walk.
I got my set-top box Saturday and haven't managed to get through to them as yet.

Yea i recall what people said about neotel, amazing SA needs them and you look now and think geezuz. I hope toptv goes well so dstv can lower my pricing or i hope they offer as much sport for half the price.

I dont watch sport so top tv is perfect for me.and now when all the friends come there is no sport to watch lol.has any body got there service activated today?I got a number that you send the customer nr and smartcard nr and they activate your service:wtf::twisted::erm:
