press both menu and right arrow on your decoder...the OK on ur remote...this will revert to fatctory settings... then just accept everything as is for the installations...then once done will update software...dont toch anything till its done

Reboot your decoder,while rebooting press...back - back - 2 - 4 - 8 - 5...to force the download.

I also had the same issue tried the trick but it doesn't work at all. Says installation aborted but when the installer was here. I did see OTA process take place.... ---- Nevermind It worked - Back Back 2 4 8 5.

Update - My decoder is just standing at 97%
Then the decoder reboots now got the following errors
Software download : IDELE
-Error Info:: 2n: 0t: 4c: 0
-Error Text": Foreground Download

My SW version on my decoder
Release Number:103
Receiver Sw Version:1.0.3.001 Mar 12 2010

There's no error. Release 103 / Version 1.0.3.001 is the latest available.

After i did a factory reset mytop tv cant pick any signal tried firmware download but still nothing is coming up, now wife is angry like hell please someone out there help

Did your installer set it up the first time? Are you using a DStv dish? If so, you might need to change 10600 to 10700 in the tuning setup.

Yes the installer did the setup and i am using the toptv dish, how do i change the those number coz its nt allowing me to change to 10700
