Top tv problem

Theres a prob with Top tv. It stops and starts working. It started working this morning and stopped shortly afterwards. I called their offices and they said it's a realignment issue. Tried realigning the dish but still no tv. has anyone had similar problems?

Apparently they say it's a realignment problem for everything :/
 
You tried realigning it? Do you have a meter or a sat finder? Have you checked your signal strength on the decoder.
 
It says on the tv that my set-top box is unable to recieve a signal.

I don't have those devices so I just tried changing the direction that the satellite dish was facing. I put it back to it's usual direction afterwards.

I'm afraid you need a bit more precision than that when realigning a satellite dish.
 
Dish alignment needs to be precise. I can guarantee you've now messed it up beyond your ability to fix it. Call an installer tomorrow.

Could also be a faulty lnb but you'll need an installer to sort out the alignment now regardless.
 
I also like trying to align dishes to satellites 35 000km away, with my naked eye... Never works though.
 
+1 with b4 u born.Signal was re-set and it worked ok for a couple of days before going back to a vrot receeption.
Subsequently cancelled.
 
Technician came and checked the alignment and said it's not an issue. It was actually the top tv decoder that needed to be replaced. Paid the technician for nothing.
