Top TV PVR does it exist?

I already have DSTV pvr but my son wants his own setup and to be able to flick and choose, you know, the guy thing, who controls the remote.

So was in CNA today and I see top TV is only R299 box, dish, installation, so that is cheap, and their subscription is cheap so just wondering if there is also such a thing or a near future plan of a top TV PVR and should I wait for it or should I just get it for him now?

Nope there's no Top TV PVR, I think they did mention there were plans sometime in the future, but probably not for quite a while.

nope no hd as yet either, if you have dstv why dont u go for the xtraview route it wont cost u more in terms of subscription

Article says HD pvr is coming out and 10 new standard definition channels are launching as well by the end of February. So they are prepping for HD channels indeed
