Hey guys!

I want to go buy a Logitech Universal Remote today to control my whole system.

On there website compatibility thing, all my systems check out :). However i cant find TopTV there.

Can anyone tell me what the TopTV decoder name is and model number. I know its an Altech UEC thing but its not listed there.

I dont want to buy the remote if TopTV wont work with it.

Please, any help will do - would love to buy it this morning:) THANKS guys!

you should be able to program it by "teaching" it from your TOPTv Remote if all else fails.

Well I used my DSTV remote I think it is the A3 version.were you can learn remote commands works just like remote seems so comfortable compared to the top tv remote

TopTV Decoder make and model

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been able to get the make and model of the TopTV decoder. I am wanting to use a Logitech Harmony 300 remote on it, and the learning is not working very well. I have taught the remote the commands, but every command is sent twice.
I have contacted Logitech and they are wanting the make and model of the device.

Thanks,

Also interested in this remote, and I found it under the compatibility list, under uec.

Thanks dbnnet.
Reconfigured the remote with that info and it is working perfectly :).

@Nuro: I find the remote really cool as you can customize the buttons how you feel fit. The only slight issue now (which seems to be common to the harmony remotes) is that there is sometimes a slight lag in the commands it issues.
