Toptv and Free Channels

The monopoly is finally over and we have another pay tv broadcaster. But you know how DSTV controls the FTA channelsyou can watch so who ever has a Toptv please can you say if you get fTA satellite channels, if yes, which ones do you get and can you put in your own frequencies. By the way what interactive services do you get?

I have not got any free to Air Channels on Top TV. I tried to set it up and I cannot like I am used with DSTV. Should top tv not allow us or not have plan for FTA Religious (Emmanuel TV, loveworld, Ezekiel, Daystar,etc) I will revert back to DSTV. At this stage it might be to ealry to judge top TV, but lets wait another 3-4 months

That's because those channels are on a different satellite. Actually they have nothing to do with DStv, you are just lucky they sit in the same part of the sky. You don't need a DStv sub to recieve those channels, just a decoder and dish pointing in the right direction.
