Toptv channels freezing

Goodday, i have the R99 toptv package and most of the channels except local sabc, etv & gospel are freezing for atleast 5sec and the picture turns black and it comes back again. I wonder what is happening because it happens through out the day sunshine or rain. What could be wrong ?

Your satellite dish needs to be re-aligned.

I had that happen this weekend as well. Just noticed it this weekend.

Could be a problem on the satellite uplink side (UK). They are having snow.

My decoder has started rebooting for the past 2 to 3 weeks now. It reboots intermittently every couple of seconds. I noticed when going to diagnostics that there was some software update error at some stage. Its out of warrantee now and the call centre says I must buy another one as the reset procedures did not help. All my equipment runs on UPS.
