TopTV decoder - GOT IT!!

I contacted -
1) Game in Kenilworth - staff member said they had not received any yet, but thought they might have them in a week.
2) House & Home in Tokai - no stock, not sure when or even if they'd be getting them.
3) Hi-Fi Corporation in Tokai - staff there told me TopTV might be launching in the next month, so maybe they'd have decoders by the end of May.

The only place that thought they should already have their stock was House & Home. Also the only place that staff knew TopTV was launching on Saturday, knew about the options, etc. But of course they had no decoders to sell.
 
just curious to see screen shots before i go ahead with it. moving into a new place end of month and rather go that route if they are reliable

I have not seen it advertised on any of the channels, but the sport channel does have the German touring car league on it DTM I think. Maybe they can secure it in the future - F1 that is.
 
I can't believe that somebody with an LCD hasn't installed yet. Many people are still waiting for screenshots.
I'll take some tonight on my 54cm LG if anyone wants. :P
 
Bleh .... installed and running and I still haven't had a chance to look at it yet.
Got home too late last night so I'll finally be able to get a look at it tonight hopefully.
 
well I think mine should be installed by the time I get home tonight so yay I will see what they have lined up for me hey

We did go into a Pep, but there was nothing on display and if they have any staff on their floor they're not dressed in any identifiable way. We did not feel like standing in the long queue for the tills on the off chance they might have heard of TopTV.

Best would be to ask for the store manager. They would most likely be clued up.

At this point I am no longer bothered with the hassle. If I happen to come upon somewhere that has the decoders and they're still going for the promotional price I'll pick one up, but interest is fading fast.
 
PEP will have more stock on Sale tomorrow - Trust me it aint worth it at first due to the amount of money one is spending to get hold of TopTV but they did manage to get back to me after how long I am not sure.

Ok

Dish installed on the 4th, but wasn't activated by installer. Had to phone top and activate it my self.

Had a few 20min calls trying to get thru, but they where very helpfull once i got thru.

So tonight i'll be toptv'ing, hope it doesn't suck otherwhise back to DSTV for me
 
i've got it hooked up to a 32" LCD, will take some photos tonight.
