TopUp and airtime transfer

It seems that Vodacom is just about the money now. My mom tried to phone me a few days ago, but ran out of her Topup airtime, so I decide to do a airtime transfer to her from my Topup that stand on some R600 and some odd rands.

So I tried and was not allowed.

Phoned Vodacom <or is it VodaCrap> and they tell you you can't transfer money from Topup to other customers. Wow, that sucks. I have 2 phones and one data contract with Vodacom. I am not even premited to transfer funds to my own numbers...

So be warned if you buy a Topup thing.

Had exactly the same issue. My wife goes through airtime considerably faster than I do. Could not transfer data or airtime, I received the error that I had insufficient airtime (I had R 279.00 balance and 600MB data).

You can only transfer airtime from your Top Up number that was purchased...not from the allocation that Vodacom gives you every month.
