If you are on a TopUp75 and you only use R50, will the remaining R25 rollover to the next month? Is there a maximum amount that you can accumulate?

From Vodacom4me website:

Please Note:

* Bundled info could be up to 3 hours old.
* Your Balance at any given time can not exceed a maximum of 5 times the fixed monthly subscription

This means that if you are currently subscibed to our:

* Family Top Up or Top Up Lite packages, you will be able to acumulate 5 x R135.00 = R675.00
* Business Top Up tariff packages, you will be able to accumulate 5 x R315.00 = R1 575.00
* The amount to be forfeited will be deducted on the first day of every month. To ensure that you are aware of the amount that coulod potentially be forfeited, an SMS will be sent to the cellphone user advising of the accumulated amount that will be forfeited

NOTE THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THE RECHARGE AMOUNTS YOU PURCHASE OVER AND ABOVE THE FIXED SUBSCRIPTION AMOUNT ALLOCATED TO YOU ON A MONTHLY BASIS

Thanks, I didn't check v4me, just looked at vodacom.co.za

Could anyone perhaps shine some light on whether this is still the norm regarding TopUp roll-over amounts please?

I just got confirmation that my Weekender Plus has been migrated to TopUp 315s and I would just like to know how much airtime will roll over or accumulate if not used after the month ends, thanks in advance.

Excuse the resurrection, I know this particular question is 3 years old but Google dug it up...

I hope you are not referring to minutes from your Weekender being rolled over to the Top Up...cause that aint going to happen. You will loose those minutes if you did not use them.

The rule for Top Up is that you can accumulate 6 months worth of airtime. When you go into month 7, month one will fall away. It will work as below:

1 50
2 80
3 40
4 90
5 100
6 50

7 315

You loose R50.00 from month one.

Go into month 8 and you loose R80.00

Thanks a bunch Ockie,
re: the free minutes, I migrated because I never used those minutes, dont have any need to call around from 8 at night.

Sadly I promised the gardener dude that he could 'phone-home' to his heart's content yesterday night and tonight, as I believed the migration would only be effected at midnight and he could use up some 404 minutes that I accumulated over the past months, then those VC IT-gremlins kicked in a bit early and I got migrated at around 6pm, now I'm stuck egg-faced cause I couldn't give him any free calls tonight, lol.

Oh well.

Ps.
Just to confirm, if I buy an ad-hoc data bundle, it rolls over one month and then expires, correct?

I.e. If I buy an Advanced 1Gb tomorrow, 1 June, it'll last till 31 July and then all remaining data will be forfeit, right?
