Tor browser download throttled

Good day all,

My ISP is iBurst, ADSL, 4mbp line. I was trying to download the Tor browser and iBurst throttled me to 12 bytes per second. At the time I was downloading other applications and the speed for them was good. I checked that it wasn't the tor project site and the site was fine.

Since when is it illegal to use the Tor network? Tor faq My guess is they are throwing their toys because they can no longer spy on me?

Any thoughts?

Since when do people use it for legal purposes?

Agreed! The Internet is not just porn, the dark net is not just illegal stuff (does the silkroad even still exists?)! My tor node (on my server - out there) is set to minimise the abuse of the dark net, e.g. spam etc.

I'm concerned that my ISP and my government spies on me, without a court order...

I'm minimising my exposure on the net, any thus the stuff you'll find of me, is what I put there ;)
