Reports from Ficksburg indicate that a tornado has swept through the town leaving more that a 1000 houses destroyed. Netcare 911 and the provincial paramedics have arrived at scene. A total of Forty two patients have now been transported to hospital two of them are in a very serious condition. Up to now it is still only the nine –year-old boy that has died on scene due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.A detailed report will follow as soon as possible..
Update 17h42: Confirmed reports of a Tornado hitting Ficksburg. Over 40 individuals injured and 1 fatality. Various emergency services at the scene walking on foot through the area to ensure safety. Pictures coming soon..[ER24]
