Hi

I'm looking for another recommended torrent aggregator/ unshaping service to replace downstorm. Any good recommendations? Simple, no fuss service will do. OR should I take the time out to get sickbeard working.

What I want, is to be able to download over http so that I won't be shaped. (i.e. avoid P2P)

thanks

I've been using put.io for a while now. Pretty good and also allows you to stream straight from the site without downloading.

lol, and people wonder why ISP's start throttling them on their uncapped accounts

Pretty happy with the whole nntp method of doing things... gets shaped during the day/busy and when I wake up in the morning's my needs are satisfied.

Thanks for the heads up! After Mweb, un-thankful barstids, freck the ISP's!
I will, let me repeat, I will do all I can to cheat!

throttling by ISPs has nothing to do with this. The ISP that is throttling is throttling on quantum of data downloaded and protocol used etc ...

the presented usage is however abuse and if I was the ISP and our network management pattern showed that a person is circumventing the shaping system in the way and for the reasons suggested a query would be made to the user and if this queryt was did not get a satisfactory response it would be followed by an Abuse Notification and Termination of Service after a third party had sight of the evidence and representations. If MWeb dealt with actual abusers - usage in the form suggested by the OP - rather than labeling all users as abusive for actually using their connection then they wouldn't need to throttle.

[-]Not working at all. When attempting to register, it does not register and uses up email. Hidden feature: 10GB per month of traffic, else have to pay (even can't see plans).[/-]
Edit: It asks to pay right away per GB basis once logged in.

Only up to 1GB torrents + 100KB/s download when getting your files to computer, else have to pay.

Precisely why it's best to move to usenet ;)

thanks all. put.io looks good.
@Acidrazor, not sure what relevance your comment has. I'm downloading less on my 4mb uncapped vs when I had 1mb uncapped. never received any warnings.

Because if what you say is true, you wouldn't need to bypass shaping.

People who bypass shaping are the scum of the earth. Even worse than the pirates.

You should rather put the cash into getting a better package.
