So I do not torrent much but when I do I use a private tracker from a site that I have to maintain a seeding ratio. Since last year I can't figure out why I am unable to seed anymore? I have tried qBitorrent, Deluge, Vuze, non of them work. I Have 4 locations with different routers & ISP's and the same issue. Downloading is fine (using a VPN), just upload is broken. Below are all the things I have tried;
- VPN and no VPN
- Port forwarding on the routers (on routers*)
- forced encryption & preferred (Torrent Client)
- static port vs random (Suggested to use a port greater than 40000)
- Firewall rule to allow the app (Windows 10)
- Private vs public setting (Windows 10)
- ISP's : Rain, MTN LTE, Afrihost LTE & a wireless ISP
- UPNP on & off (Router)
*So at home this weekend on my main router (Asus RT-AC87U) I setup a firewall rule on my gaming PC (Up to date Windows 10) I then used qBitorrent as for torrenting, and I setup port forwarding on the router under the WAN settings for VPN & Port forwarding. I downloaded the portforward checker tool and it can't see the open port. I check the port for my HikVision DVR and that works fine. So What am I missing ... what has Windows 10 changed that I am not seeing?
