Torrent upload problems....

Howzit. My local torrents upload speeds have dropped from around 15- 20k to barely 5k. I have not changed one thing to cause this. I am puzzled. My downloads are still fine at about 30k on average...

Anyone know how i can fix this and get my upload speeds back up again.

I am on an IS 3gig/30 account and have a 192k line...

I Have the same problem. When downloaing local torrents I get full speed, but when I try to upload, I barely get 3kb. Not sure what is going on. Very Frustrating.

My uploads are doing a better lately. Getting up to 10k sometimes, but thats not really that great....

Can anyone suggest anything??

Me again...

I use bitlord and utorrent, on utorrent there is a 'superseed' option which sounds cool. But when i click it, nothing seems to happen at all really...Is there more to it than that? Anyone got any ideas?

If you read on one of the local torrent forums, you will see that there are a few people with this problem. Something seems to of happend to the peering between IS and SAIX or something, IS accounts seem to not be able to upload to SAIX based people. Kinda sucky... its going to kill our ratios.

Anyone have any more info?????

Update- My problem seems to have sorted itself out. Am using utorrent and according to the peer list i am seeding to all users, both telkom uunet, is and others...Uploads going at at least 10k the whole day.

Yeah... mines better... but im still not seeding to SAIX. but atleast i can get my 30k/s uploads going at some points.

I know how you feel,when downloading from ratio sites my downloads fly and uploads have trouble going above 1kb/s,so i have to download a file and then let my pc upload for a day or 2 straight to bring ratio back to normal...

Well my ups go fine when i am downloading the file still but as soon as it is complete and i try to just seed it, the rate drops off completely and most times stops completely :-(

This is all killing my ratio and the sad thing is that i am not some leech just trying to dl as much as possible without up-ing anything in return. I am as keen to share the stuff that i have with the people out there( and i have about 300 gigs of stuff...) and at the moment i just cant :-(

Does anyone know of any solution to this?

I blame telkom.

I have the sasme problem, while downloading, it seems fine, but once done, i cant even upload at 1kb.
