A couple weeks ago I made a post in one of the p2p threads about TorrentFlux accounts on my server, a few people PM'd me to check it and since June is almost here I thought I'd remind iBurst users who want to download content available on the BitTorrent protocol that the offer is still good. I'd prefer it if users signed up early for the month of June as I can no longer give discounts for half month usage, meaning if you sign up for a GB on the 20th you will be charged for the same as if you signed up today and only be able to run your torrents untill the end of June (unless of course you want to keep your account through July).
Before I get onto the details I would like to mention that it is 100% non profit, just me finding a way to use a spare server I have, as long as you pay for what you use then we're fine.
You download torrents onto the server through the TorrentFlux web interface (on a 250mbit server) which is a front end for BitTornado, and then you can leech the file off the server through HTTP/FTP at your leisure. It's the best solution I have found so far for side stepping packet shaping because it works 100% of the time (not like proxies) and you can get your files through the fastest port on iBurst (HTTP) which means 1mbit, so now you don't have to be happy with 30KB/s.
It's also great for people who only want a few things through BitTorrent or people who just don't want to pay for the 9GB package.
The price is at cost, you pay per GB of hardrive space you plan to use and get five times bandwith transfer, up and down. So if you wanted 1GB of space that costs R12 (R12 per GB) and you would get 5GB bandwith allocated to your account. Thats R12 per month per GB, 5GB space would be R60 and allow you 25GB transfer (up and down).
Before you ask, yes this will count toward your iBurst cap, its just like any other traffic you might download on the internet.
With the account you get your own TorrentFlux install on your own web account with HTTP/FTP access as well as extra tools I coded into TorrentFlux like the ability to zip directories and veryify downloads that come with .sfv files.
Some users are using the TorrentFlux now and have nothing but good things to say because it finally gives them a chance to download that content at full speed and you can now make the most of your cap (for users who do more than just browse and check email)
Shell accounts are available on request for peopel comfortable with them and looking to use the same principle with protocols like DC++.

If this isn't for you but you're still looking for more solutions to your p2p problems you should check out Nab's DC++ hub for iBurst users as well as UnUnOctium's iBurst only torrent tracker (because iBurst to iBurst transfers are fast before and after cap and there are no strict shaping rules applied to them) and perhaps fire off a PM to Pan who I think also owns a server and might be interested in helping people out.
