1. theres no conclusive proof that slimothy is involved. (just a jonathan and a matthew) (although, im not discounting Warren Smith's involvement. The ttorrent interface isnt nearly even similar to torrent-box, it is vanilla torrentflux)
2. doesnt matter anyway, I just want an affordable tflux service (which wiz4rd's is not IMO) that works
3. so far it works pretty well, yes it is international
with any service of this nature, if you signup more than a month you have your own stupidity to blame. If it tanks like torrent-box I lose what a few $. no big deal really. I dont like slimothy one bit but he only stole like R50 from me but im more upset about the loss of the service back in the day.
Needless to say if wiz4rd would offer a same priced same features service or even cheaper, I would switch straight away. The difference is, these guys have a website and multiple users (lowering costs) whereas wiz4rd was looking for someone to share his own dedicated server costs (as far as one can tell-I may be wrong though)

Lastly, is there really such a thing as a legitimate torrentflux service?
