Torrents slow

I'm using utorrent and I thought since I upgraded to 4mb that it would run much faster but it is only hovering at about 50kbps...

Is there some setting I should change?

Do you also find that it slows your total internet down?
BTW have you opened a port for utorrent to use. Do you have the green icon in the bottom toolbar area?

I do have a green icon. My other downloads are top notch, it's just torrents...

Look for torrents with lots of seeders.

I am using them, if the leechers outweigh the seeders will it go slowly?

Have you got the latest utorrent. Use the speed guide recommendations and set at say 2mbit line speed.

Generally speaking, yeah.

You need more seeders than leechers.

As said look for max seeders what site are you getting your torrents from?

Those ones for local on bitfarm are hopeless.

just use private torrent trackers cause they have a lot of seedboxes !! Even myself own a dedicated france server. 100nmb/s unmetered bandwidth!
