Sorry if this has been answered before, but can you use NeoConnect to download torrents?

I read somewhere that incoming ports are blocked.

i also want a answer for this , maybe cyberarmy can tell us?

Sorry, didn't complete the contract after the demo guy showed me how fast the speed was in my house. But saw some real Neotel user was complaining about P2P not working?

what speeds where you getting on the test they did?

The connection is completely unshaped. The reason torrents are slow is because the Neotel crapvice, I mean device doesn't allow the forwarding of ports.

Local Torrents works at full speeds.. Meaning when you downloading from local South African users, when downloading from overseas the speeds are very pathetic and slow...

That is just my point of view, but torrents does work and News Servers do work at full speeds.....

Thank you again RichardG. :D
What News Servers do you use?

just so you guys know I have neotel and in the beginning torrents sucked but recently(last week or so) I've moved to just downloading torrents from international sites and I'm getting 50-100kB/s speeds...
Local torrents are fast but alot slower then international torrents you just need to know where to look.

this is fast enough for me since i only can get 2mb line from telkom so if neotel can give me i will take it , i had to use a 1mb line for around 4 months or so i can adapt to speed anyway i hope when they are in durban im covered
