Have you made sure the torrent is properly seeded before downloading?

Lately I'm getting 25-30 KB/s on well seeded torrents. Also make sure you use a reputable torrent site like Demonoid.

b.t.w. I'm on MyWi 256

Project X u must rember that bittorent is a P2P program

So depending how many seeders and leechers are on a torrent then u will either get higher or lower speeds. So the more Seeders there are in a torrent the better and it happens sometimes that a torrent gets overloaded with to many users.

And also depends on what clients u use

Sentech - they cap your p2p and other traffic at around 2KB/s. If you download a large file over HTTP, then it is 4KB/s after the first 100kb or something.

Cancel and go with iBurst, and use encryption (through azureus), then you get what you want.

encryption  could you plz explain to me what that is and how it works....
