Decided to post here instead of my thread about this 
Originally I was thinking of loading a cooked rom from XDA. Have you updated yours and can maybe comment on it?
From looking at the screen shot from that link I see they did include most of the things from the cooked roms like the clock from the Hero and coloured tabs. Am a little disappointed though that it doesn't look like they included the application shortcut icons on the home screen.
