Touch Diamond Screen issues

Ok so I have had my 3rd Diamond since Tuesday and I can’t help but feel that this unit is still not 100%, the screen appears to have a yellow, washed out tint to it. The 2nd handset I had, had a very very obvious yellow cloud like smudge at the bottom of the screen, and if it wasn’t for that I may have not even noticed this issue on my new one. But I have been reading up on it, and it seems I am not losing my mind as I thought. Check out this page where pics show this wash out between two handsets. Anyone with the TD have this yellow tint on their phones?

I am not sure if you can consider this a dud phone, or just one of those things. But I am trying to decide if I should take this one back or just live with it.

nope.... mine is perfect. i think i have been lucky (touch wood) coz i have heard lots of little complaints here and there.... all of which i have none of... i mean people complain about the battery, mine lasts 3 days with 2 bars to spare, then i give it a charge over night. and thats from using it regularly.

Wish I could say the same - I have had endless S**t with this thing....Trying to work out if I have the energy to go and swop it out AGAIN, with the risk that all of thier stock has the same issues.

Hmm yours last 3 days with 2 bars to spare?? Ok now that I really struggle to believe, I have never heard of that. You sure you got the Touch Diamond?

Yup, me too - should last about 3 days have never had an issue but I connect it to my PC at work and home often and never use the supplied charger. Screen pure white no issues.

Ah ok but connecting it to the pc is cheating I doubt anyone could get 3 days with regular usage without plugging it in at some point, and still have 2 bars left over.

Ahh probably but i'm usually syncing, copying files or installing stuff that I don't count it as charging - but all in all I'm very happy with it.

Just a tip - If you ever need to charge in a hurry and dont need it to be connected to the Pc, use the mains charger, charges the phone much faster.
