I just dropped my Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia and now the screen has gone all screwy. The phone turns on, and the screen lights up, but it doesn't display anything properly, so I can't even punch in my sim card pin number in order to be able to receive calls. Does anyone have an idea of what a reasonable amount to pay would be in order to get this fixed? I'm kind of between a rock and a hard place here because the phone is not insured, and I'm due for an upgrade in January, but at the same time I can't be without a phone during the December holidays. I want to figure out whether it would be more sensible to get this thing fixed or to just buy one of those cheap phones to keep me going until I renew my contract in January.
