Was wondering if any one has some knowledge regarding a tow bar and a golf 2 jumbo.
I got an old 87 golf 2 jumbo 1.3l car. I'm busy replacing the shocks on the car at the moment with gabriel shocks (all 4, front and rear). I'm looking to get a towbar to put on it, which i called steelite and they will fit one for R1950 which is not a bad price at all. I just want to know if my 1.3l will be capable of towing a trailer with a bike or 2. I dont plan on racing to the tracks, going a good 80km/h is fine.
How much weight will the steelite towbars tow without causing issues to my golf? Its an old car but its all i got so gotta make it work. Anything i should look out for?
