Hi,

I bought a brand new taxi from Freeway Toyota in Joburg early February 2018. Due to heavy rains taxi roofing started leaking and the water was hidden somewhere inside the taxi and didn't know what's the cause. Well I went back to the garage (Saturday - 24 March 2018) for assistance and all I got was bad service and treatment...they couldn't even apologise...I was told its a factory fault and the technical service guys are not available so I must come back on Monday.


I was so unhappy and this is affecting the business cause the taxi is off the road for all those days and I'm expected to pay the full instalment . Even the manager's are so rude and they don't know how to treat their customers.

Funny part was the issue was not actually with the factory...it was something that was supposed to be checked before handing over the car to be.
 
Take it to a different Toyota dealership then..

As for it being off the road and not earning money, that is an issue between you and the bank not Toyota, the bank won't give a toss though, you will be expected to pay the installment regardless.
 
why dont you just drive around regardless? ive seen taxis in far worse shape drive around as normal.

no passenger going to complain the taxi full of water,
if they dont complain of cardboard brakes and sideways driving, why would they complain about that.
