I've ordered a MR3220 on the special which is going to be used for an OpenWRT project for work. I see there is quite a bit of information on the OpenWRT site, but was hoping to get some feedback here on builds, issues and performance from those that have taken the plunge. I seem to getting conflicting reports on webgui for the MR3220, mostly due to memory constraints, yet it looks to have the same as the MR3420, which does support webgui?

Have you compared it against a mr3020? Because if the mr3220 has as much memory as the 3020 then you should be fine!

Router arrived today. One or two people at the office want to test it first with the stock firmware, but I'll be flashing that puppy soon :D

Was thinking of updating my MR3420 but apparently there's no support for usb working. So will play around this weekend and give feedback

Where did you see that? I'm of the opinion that it does work as many people load OpenWRT to solve modem compatibility issues.

When mine is back from being on loan I'll also post some feedback.

I read somewhere on the forums that usb support isnt supported. I'll try find it.

However...

This weekend i played around with Openwrt on my MR3420 with my ZTE modem and another modem. I got Openwrt to see the devices but i'm still battling to connect. I will fiddle around a little more and post everything here once i have it up and running.

Just a little feedback. I loaded openwrt and got the usb working with ZTE and KZxxxx (Cant remember the USB Model) but i couldn't get them to dial out. I reverted until another day when i have time. I think it has something to do with the AT Commands.

Um it can also be the interface they dialling through? Its ttyUSB2 for ZTE when there are 3 tty interfaces presented.
