TP-Link Archer VR300

I purchased a TP-Link Archer VR300 from Incredible yesterday and its a great router in terms of coverage and pings but the one annoying thing is it doesn't have a flashing network activity LED. There's only one LED light to tell you if it's on or not and changes from orange to blue when connected. What else can i use to monitor network activity?
