TP Link Deco Mesh - Can't get it to connect.

Hi all, so I have changed from a standard Zyxel Router to a TP Link Mesh Network.

On setup, I am able to get to a point where it says Connect to Deco, Choose internet settings, Dynamic IP or PPPoE.

I am on PPPoE, and then it prompts for password/username (optional)
So I don't know these details, to my knowledge, the ONT is supposed to send that to the fiber router no?

I can go find it on my mweb account, but it says optional. But I keep getting looped between 'testing internet' and 'choose your ISP type' on the Deco App.

Deco is solid red light, then I reset and start over. Same issue.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Type in the username and password.

If you’re on PPPoE then you need a username and Password.
If in Vuma Trenched then Dynamic IP

Why not get them from your old router?

If it is IpOe (active ethernet) then it will config itself automatically. If it is Pppoe then do
What Soul assassin said. You will need to configure the router with the username and password manually.
