Hi Guys

I am in need of some advise. I am about to buy this router. I need to know if I can plug the Telkom landline directly into the route for my adsl or must it be coupled with a wired router.

It's a wireless router only, you still need a modem for ADSL connection.

You could try something like the W9970, W8970 or W8968 for both wireless router and ADSL in one device.

I've been using the W8970 modem/router for a good few years now and it works flawlessly. I added a separate 8-port wired router for the additional wired devices, although these days most devices are wireless... I recently added some TP-Link wireless repeaters for those areas of the house that have bad wireless signal - they work very well too and the entire house now has good signal on 2.4 and 5 bands!

Thanks a lot for the response guys i ended up buying the W8961N from Uniterm. Will give it a go tonight.
