Tracert pointing to a problem?

Hi

I play a lot of BF3 and I only play on the European or East US servers as I get the best ping.However I never get more than 3 bars for ping according to my xbox. Kinda hard to play since I don't exactly have the best ping. What I also noticed is that on all tracerts(even local) the 6th hop is significantly higher than the previous 5.

Is this normal for everyone?

Your typos there makes it very hard to understand what you mean.

If you are playing on Xbox how do you know what IP to trace route?

Chances are the 6th hop is the first international one so it's perfectly normal to see a latency of 150 - 250 ms.
