Who would you recommend for a tracking company. Tracetec seems new, will they be reliable and better than the competitiors?
Can I change tracking companies? Will there be added fees?

What scares me about their ads is that Tracker and Netstar are not coming out and saying they are talking crap.

My friend had his Polo stolen and all they found was the unit. If they are so easy to find, then why bother with the two?

As for changing, they usually tie you to a contract, and if you cancel, you have to pay them remaining premiums.

I know there units are big and needs power supply and an aerial. Easy to find, chances are they always in the doors of the car.

This Tracetec seems to be impressive...
Just need to know if their marketing is just changing my mind or if they really mean what they say.

How many people are thinking of changing?

Gauteng a couple of years ago:

BMW Insurance require that you fit Tracetec to motorcycles insured by them. Had a unit fitted in my bike. Some mozambique and SA citizens decided to shop the said bike.

Called tracetec, they found the bike, the police arrested 6 and closed down a chopshop.

Very good service imo.

How long have they been running? I mean Tracetec.
