Tracker - Telephone SPAM 0860690772

0860690772 phones me about 30 times a day trying to sell me tracker devices. If I don't answer the first time they phone from a private number.

When I ask the telesales person where they get my number from, I get informed that they bought it from some company but the person always mumbles the name so you cannot make out where they get it from. When asked to spell it they also ignore your question.

My number is listed on the DMCA list for DO NO CONTACT, yet I get tens & tens of phone calls & smsses from multiple companies.

I'm so tired of this harassment, adding the number to your block caller list doesn't help much since they just phone from private numbers and I have a lot to do with banks, which also use private numbers so I'm kind of in a catch 22 situation.

I have various responses to tele-marketers.
1. Them: "Is this Mr So-and-so?"
Me: "That depends: do you want money from me, or do you want to give money to me?"
Them: "Sir, I'm calling about..."
Me: "Sorry, what? I was just joking. You've got the wrong person, sorry."


2. "Yes! I'm so glad you called. Tell me about it, please." *puts the phone down on the desk and continues to work*

3. "Look, I'm gonna be honest with you: I'm unemployed and cannot afford to pay for anything. So, what can you give me for free?"

From about the 9th of October 2014, I have had numerous calls from this number: +27 31 140 0172 - and they NEVER leave a message.

This morning I got a call again from this number, decided to answer it on a whim, and the person at the other end was immediately going into their sales spiel about some car policy or related product - I interrupted her routine - and asked them to immediately remove my details from their database as I was not interested in their product.

Needless to say this landline number is now on my 'Blocked Callers' list!
