Hey guys.

Hope I posted in the correct section.

A while back there was a thread where you can track locations of your android device use google location services, which I cannot find.

I remember that you log in with your google account and you could see your location history.

Reason for this is because friends and family of mine were held up last night and their phones were taken so was hoping to see the locations as the phones were only turned off an hour later.

AFAIK it only works if the setting is enabled.

I came here to post this: Android Device Manager is what you need.

However, on some phones you need to enable remote wipe and lock in the Google Settings menu. On other phones, these settings are enabled by default.

Yes the we have located the phone and have informed the Police, just complicated as it was found out of their jurisdiction so they now liasing with the police for that area. Was located 70Km away

Obviously, they hit the suburbs and trek back to the squatter camps. 15th avenue alex is a common retreat for example. Fkn scum, I hope the police manage to catch them. Good luck bro.
