trade in appliances

Hi

I have a dishwasher and microwave that's damaged. I want to get rid of it in order to make space so I can get a new one. I remember Incredible Connection had a thing where you can trade in your old laptop. Is there perhaps any store that does the same for appliances?

Best bet is probably scrap merchants, get very little but at least something.
