I'm no financial guru and have started wondering about keeping money a little bit outside of bank accounts and normal investments.
The company I work for gives us RSU's via the etrade portal. When those rsu's vest a good portion is sold for tax.
So what I want to understand is:
The other option is buying bitcoin, but there I have the same question. If I buy a bunch of bitcoin on Luno and decide to leave the country, would I just be able to leave and that's it?

- If I had to leave the country and had millions worth of shares (obviously not the case now) that had vested. Would I just be able to leave without having to still give more to SARS?
- Similarly, if I decide to buy more shares (not rsu's, but actual shares) - would this be a way of making my money more, how can I say, portable?
